Olympiacos stayed far from its true potential and lost at the SEF to Panathinaikos 77-88, for the 24th round of the Euroleague.

Today’s practice (04/02), was held in the presence of the Olympiacos BC Presidents, Mr. Giorgos Angelopoulos and Mr. Panagiotis Angelopoulos, in view of the game against Panathinaikos (05/02, 20.00 CET), for the 24th round of the Euroleague.

Olympiacos BC, with the full support of the its Mega Sponsor, bwin, have once again made a contribution to the community through the “bwin Monday Night Game Against Covid-19” program, against the coronavirus.

Olympiacos lost to Ionikos Nikaias 88-93 in a friendly game for the “bwin Monday Night Against Covid-19” program.

Olympiacos came to the fountain, but was not able to quench his thirst. The ‘reds’ lost to Barcelona at the SEF 74-76, for the 23rd round of the Euroleague.  

Olympiacos will be playing tomorrow (28/01, 20.00 CET) against Barcelona at the SEF, for the 23rd round of the Euroleague. Olympiacos turned the game around twice (at first from trailing by 18 and then from _10), but wasn’t able to get the win in Milan. The team ‘collapsed” during the final couple of minutes of the game and lost 79-90 for the 22nd round of the Euroleague.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the renaming of the series of charity games organized by Olympiacos BC aiming to contribute to battling COVID-19, to “bwin Monday Night Game Against Covid-19”.

Olympiacos left for Milan, where tomorrow (26/01, 20.45 CET) will be playing against Armani for the 22nd round of the Euroleague. Giannoulis Larentzakis was incorporated in the delegation, who has recovered from his injury, while Kostas Papanikolaou is still at the pitch.

Olympiacos lost to Zalgiris in Lithuania 79-81 for the 21st round of the Euroleague – in a game that had seemed to be in his grasp.  

Following the end of the game against Zalgiris, the Sport Director of Olympiacos, Christos Bafes, made the following statement…

Following the road victory against Villeurbanne, Olympiacos needs another one, this time against Zalgiris Kaunas (22/02, 19.00 CET), in order to maintain his hopes for a spot in the TOP-8 intact.

With Kostas Sloukas and Shaquielle McKissic as the absolute protagonists, Olympiacos bent Villeurbanne’s solid resistance and won the postponed game for the 10th round of the Euroleague 101-93 (86-86) in Lyon.   

Olympiacos left for France, to play against Villeurbanne tomorrow (19/01, 20.45 CET), for the postponed game of the 10th round of the Euroleague.

Olympiacos did not continue with his winning streak. The ‘reds’ lost at the SEF to Villeurbanne 63-69 for the 20th round of the Euroleague.

Olympiacos BC will be lending Antonis Koniaris to Obradoiro for the rest of the season.

Olympiacos will be hosting Villeurbanne tomorrow (15/01, 20.30 CET), for the 20th round of the Euroleague and the victory is required for the team to stay within the TOP-8 orbit.

Another huge road victory for Olympiacos! The team bested Maccabi Tel Aviv at the overtime (89-87 (regulation: 73-73) and is now solely focuses on the Friday home game (15/01, 20.30 CET) against Villeurbanne.  

Olympiacos’ delegation left Monday afternoon (11/01) for Israel, where tomorrow (12/01, 20:05 CET) shall be facing off with Maccabi Tel Aviv, for the 19th round of the Euroleague.

With Kostas Sloukas being the MVP of the game, Olympiacos bested Bayern Munich 84-82 – for the 18th round of the Euroleague – in a game the ‘reds’ were missing Kostas Papanikolaou and Shaquielle McKissic (injured) and Antonis Koniaris (ill).
