Recycling - Environmental Responsibility
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, Olympiacos BC, in cooperation with the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF), implements procedures that encourage recycling, starting with executives, athletes, sponsors and employees, while motivating all fans to adopt the same philosophy.
The Municipality of Piraeus supports this initiative by installing recycling bins around the Stadium, aiming to inform and actively engage fans in environmental protection.
Recycling Instructions
Please use the bins labeled:
- WASTE (all non-recyclable waste), or
- RECYCLING (clean paper or plastic cups, water bottles, A4 paper and tickets).
Recycling bins with red round lids are located at:
- Gates 2 & 3 (behind Sections 203, 205 and 210)
- Gate 7 Entrance
- Gate 8 Entrance
- Before entering the VIP sections
External red recycling bins around the Stadium are located at Gates 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, VIP, at the ticket offices and at the central parking area.
All red bins are used exclusively for clean recyclable materials.
The Municipality of Piraeus carries out waste collection at regular intervals. The collected materials are transferred to Recyclable Materials Sorting Centers (RMSCs) for separation and processing.
We encourage the increased use of electronic tickets and the reduction of paper usage.
The Stadium’s new concession stands use environmentally friendly materials.
Volunteers contribute to the coordination and supervision of the recycling process throughout the game.
A special battery recycling bin is available at the Journalists’ Entrance.
