Season finale for the "Red and Whites'" OneTeam with the presence of Vezenkov and Larentzakis

This year's athletic and school season for the ONE TEAM program concluded in the best possible way. The Champions of Europe and Greece, Sasha Vezenkov and Giannoulis Larentzakis, visited the 22nd Primary School of Piraeus to say goodbye to the 6th-grade students who are preparing to take their next step into Junior High School, and to remember all the moments they shared this year.

The Olympiacos athletes and OneTeam ambassadors sent the children a special message for the new school journey opening up ahead of them: discipline, effort, and a smile at every step.

The welcome that the students prepared for the "Red and Whites" was impressive, with the Olympiacos anthem echoing loudly and enthusiasm prevailing from the very first minutes of the visit.

The two athletes spoke with the children and the school principal, shared experiences from their own journey in sports, and promised that Olympiacos will continue to stand by them. Afterwards, the students were divided into teams and participated in skills and shooting competition games, filling the schoolyard with laughter, excitement, and beautiful moments. The day concluded with photos, autographs, and many memories that will accompany them for a long time.

In an atmosphere of joy for the beginning of summer, but also emotion for all the unique moments shared this year, OneTeam closed its activities for this season, conveying important life messages to the children ahead of their transition to the next school level.

The future teenagers were urged to be guided by the values of teamwork, respect, and continuous effort; to remain focused on their goals with discipline and perseverance, just like athletes do on their path to the top; to choose the people around them wisely, to build healthy relationships, and to make responsible decisions that protect themselves and those around them.

At the same time, they were encouraged to face every difficulty with optimism, to learn from every experience, and to constantly cultivate their mind and spirit, as knowledge is the most important tool for the future.

Above all, however, the greatest message of the day was one: to never stop smiling and to always keep within them the authenticity, purity, and strength that characterizes every child.

As every year, this year as well, Olympiacos BC made a symbolic donation to the cooperating institution of the program. This year, we had the pleasure of giving a "sporty makeover" to the courtyard of the 22nd Primary School of Piraeus, leaving behind a project that will remain for future students.

Specifically, in the schoolyard, safety protective padding was placed on all poles around the basketball hoop, along with a new hanging basketball hoop and two foldable school football goals.

OneTeam and the Olympiacos family wish all the children a great summer, a good rest, and a creative new school year in Junior High School, full of dreams, knowledge, and beautiful experiences.
