Ioannis Skyndilias joined our team in the summer of 2025. He was born on January 26, 1979, in Sunderland, United Kingdom.

He is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology, which he obtained in 2020. Additionally, he completed the MSc program in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of South Wales.

He has trained and worked both in Greece and the United Kingdom, serving in prominent hospitals such as the General Hospital of Nea Ionia “Konstantopouleio” (University Clinic of NKUA), the Penteli Children’s General Hospital, and Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Since 2021, he has maintained a private practice and collaborates with the Athens Medical Center (Psychiko and Peristeri), initially as a salaried physician and now as an external consultant. He keeps up to date with developments in sports injuries, regularly participating in international conferences and specialized training seminars.

In addition, he is actively involved as a team physician for volleyball clubs, including A.O. Kifisia.
