Rochestie: "I'll do whatever it takes"

Olympiacos' new signing, Taylor Rochestie, arrived in Greece toningt (28/10).

"I have wanted to come here for years", the veteran guard stated and went on to say: "I have a Greek agent and had talked about the prospect of me coming to Greece. I know what a wonderful place it is and what a beautiful city. I know that Olympiacos has amazing fans and I'm happy to be here. We had been talking with my wife that it's so nice to have landed here and it already feels like home".

On whether he feels he can be helping the 'reds' to improve their image, he replied: "I don't think there is anyone in Europe to have written Olympiacos off or that believes it's going to be easy to play against him. It doesn't matter if the team has been playing good up to now or not. I will be definitely helping, with my positive energy and my optimism, my leadership skills and as a point guard I'll be coming in the game to bring enthusiasm. I play really hard, passionately and Olympiacos is the perfect place for that, because the team has passionate fans. I think that I will be fitting in perfectly. I'll be playing with many great players on this team. It's honor to be here and be part of this historic club. I'm grateful to the administration for bringing me here. I'm looking forward to meeting with the fans, I can't wait to give my heart for the team".

And he closed saying: "The most important thing for me is to fit in with the team and make it better. I want to be doing whatever it takes, score, pass, whatever the coach and the team needs. I have great experience with the Euroleague and I'm excited to be playing for Olympiacos".
