Peters on OlympiacosBC TV: «I feel blessed»

Alec Peters delivered a sensational Final Four performance and, as Olympiacos’ most valuable player in the big final against Real Madrid, signed off on the fourth European title in the club’s history with his outstanding game. 

Just minutes after the trophy ceremony, the American forward spoke to OlympiacosBC TV about the unforgettable moments he experienced and shared his emotions: “I feel blessed, emotional, and exhausted. All at once! My mind is a whirlwind of emotions right now, and it’s very difficult to describe it in words. But I’m truly so proud of the guys. We had been fighting for this for so long, and it felt like we were carrying a weight on our shoulders, but in the end, we made it.”

Regarding how he feels about Olympiacos fans, Peters said: “I don’t know when they’ll experience an atmosphere like this at the OAKA again, but it was definitely something special. Thank you. For four years they’ve shown me love and supported me, and I would like to shake the hand of every single one of them. Honestly, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to thank them enough.”
