Sasha Vezenkov is the the 2025-26 EuroLeague MVP

Sasha Vezenkov made history by winning the EuroLeague MVP award for the second time in his career.

The Bulgarian forward became the only player to have won the EuroLeague MVP twice while wearing the club’s jersey, as after the 2022–23 season, he has once again been named the competition’s Most Valuable Player.

In fact, Vezenkov became just the second player in EuroLeague history to win the MVP award twice, tying the record of Anthony Parker (2005/2006).

The award for the competition’s top scorer was presented to him by club presidents Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos, catching him by surprise. Nikola Milutinov and Kostas Papanikolaou were also present, wearing special MVP commemorative T-shirts to honor their teammate. The management and players immediately set their next goal, with Vezenkov setting the tone by telling the presidents: “Now we go for the big one.”
