Bartzokas: «Congratulations to the entire team»

Giorgos Bartzokas made the following statement following the winning game against AEK for the final round of the Stoiximan GBL.

“Today we completed the regular season in a positive way. I would like to congratulate the entire team and our players for finishing undefeated. We won everywhere, showed consistency throughout the season, displayed the talent we have as a team, and generally approached every game as if nothing was guaranteed. Based on that, we are satisfied. We have new challenges ahead of us, which are the Greek league playoffs and the EuroLeague playoffs. What we want is to stay healthy so we can fight for what we believe we deserve.”

When asked about Monaco and the EuroLeague playoffs, the coach commented:
“I would ask you to allow me not to talk about the EuroLeague games right now, because we are here for the game against AEK. On Monday we have Media Day, where we will talk about that game. Right now, to sit and discuss how we will approach it is a bit premature, since we only found out our opponent yesterday and today, we had the game against AEK. For those of you who wish to hear our analysis, we will be there on Monday to analyze everything.”
