Howard’s operation was a success

The surgery performed on Matt Howard today (November 2) by the Olympiacos surgeon Dr. Giorgos Papagiannopoulos, was a complete success.

Matt Howard will be following a specialized treatment, while his return to the courts is expected in about 20 days.

Three “reds” at the Official Olympiacos B.C. Store

Just before the game against FB Ulker at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, Giorgos Printezis, Kyle Hines and Martynas Gecevicius paid a visit to the Official Olympiacos B.C. Store.

On Wednesday, October 26, 2011 and at 17:00, Giorgos Printezis, Kyle Hines and Martynas Gecevicius will be at the Official Olympiacos B.C. Store (opposite from the Karaiskakis stadium) in order to be photographed and sign autographs for the young and older fans of Olympiacos.

Olympiacos at Bilbao

Olympiacos is in Spain. The “reds” play against Bilbao of Katsikaris, Vasileiadis and Mavroeidis for the Euroleague premiere.

Printezis: We lack games…

Bilbao will be premiering in the Euroleague and its first opponent in the competition is Olympiacos. Giorgos Printezis spent a year and a half in Spain and knows better than his team mates what the “reds” are going to be facing in Bizkaia.

Victory before traveling abroad…

Olympiacos won both friendly games against Panionios. This time, the «reds” did not win as easily as the Saturday game, but they finally got an 89-86 victory, which however, was the least important thing of the game.

A victory and a great defense

Olympiacos beat Panionios 83-57 in a friendly game that was held in the Peace and Friendship Stadium. The “reds” played excellent defense from the beginning and gained control of the game, which they did not lose till the end.

On a right foot…

The Greek Cup holders began their games for the completion gaining an easy ticket to the semi finals where they will be playing against PAOK.

On Saturday, October 1, 2011, the RedDrops audition for the 2011-12 season was held in the auxiliary gym of the Peace and Friendship Stadium.

The members of the Olympiacos delegation in Istanbul experienced a unique moment, when together with the co-owner of the Club, Mr. Giorgos Angelopouylos, the team paid a visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchy and received the blessings of the Patriarch Mr. Vartholomaos.

An easy victory against Partizan

Olympiacos completed a series of friendly games on Italian ground with a victory. The “reds” beat Partizan 82-64 and ranked third in the Cagliari tournament.

First defeat…

Olympiacos was defeated for the first time in a friendly game in the season. The “reds” were edged by Siena for the Cagliari tournament 79-75.

Olympiacos will be eating PIZZA FAN next season

Olympiacos BC and PIZZA FAN announces the renewal of their co-operation for the 2011-2012 season. The two organizations continue the collaboration that began in 2010 for another year mainly aiming at strengthening and developing a successful sponsorship relationship.
