Giorgos Bartzokas will be heading the coaching staff of Olympiacos until the summer of 2026 and through OlympiacosBC.gr states to be 'thirsty' for new success.

The Olympiacos' coach, Giorgos Bartzokas declated to be proud of his players, following the defeat to Panathinaikos in game 5. 
Olympiacos fought, but failed to fulfill its goal. They lost game 5 at the OAKA to Panathinaikos 82-87 and with it, the title of the Greek League Champions.
The need for Olympiacos to switch gears and go to OAKA to play his game, was stressed by the 'red & whites' coach, Giorgos Bartzokas.

Olympiacos failed to finish the finals series at the OAKA and according to Giorgos Bartzokas, this was due to the fact that the 'red & whites' did not play up to their standards. 
Olympiacos fought but failed to sweep the series. The team lost at the OAKA to Panathinaikos 76-83 and is now going to give it all during the Wednesday game (12/06, 20.15 CET) for the win that will crown them Greek Champions.
