Hall about Virtus: «We must play hard for 40 minutes»

Olympiacos is playing Virtus Bologna in Italy for the 18th round of EuroLeague and Donta Hall spoke to olympiacosbc.gr about the game a little before the team's departure to Italy.

The American center who averages 6.5 points and 3.6 rebounds this year talked about the difficulties of the game, stressed that key to winning will be containing Carsen Edwards and sent his own message to the Olympiacos' fans that traveled to Bologna on Christmas Day.

Have you watched Virtus this season? What has made an impression on you about them?

«They are a team that plays very hard, but has enough talent at the same time. They are a team we must play hard against for 40 minutes to succeed in that environment».

Who is the key player to contain?

«Definitely Carsen Edwards. The guy can score in so many ways. He plays at a very high level and we must contain him. But there are many other role-players that also do an exceptional job. In any case, if we can stop Edwards, it's going to be very important for us».

Is the team's psychology better following the win over Villeurbanne?

«Yes, definitely. Even the game Sunday, for the Greek League, was important. I feel the energy is close to what we had wanted it to be since the beginning of the season».

Do you want to send a message to our fans that travel to Italy on Christmas Day to see you play?

«We really appreciate the love they show us. Traveling on Christmas Day, which is a big day for many people, to Bologna to support you team is huge/ We thank them and expect them to be part of the game with their energy. Merry Christmas to everyone!».
