Fournier on Villeurbanne: «The darkest hour is before dawn»
Olympiacos is hosting Villeurbanne Friday night for the 17th round of the EuroLeague and Evan Fournier shared his thoughts about the game with olympiacosbc.gr.
The French guard talked both about the game vs the French team and the loss to Valencia, while he also sent a message to our fans saying that «the darkest hour is just before dawn».
Have you watched Villeurbanne this season? What do you think about them?
«I have watched their game against Hapoel Tel Aviv and what I think is that they play much better than what their record shows. They are very athletic and they are talented, but to be honest, it has to do with us and how we play. It doesn't matter who we play, but how we play».
What do you need to improve compared to how you played against Valencia?
«Honestly, I don't think we played bad, we faced off a very good team. I think we have to build good habits defense wise and pass the ball when attacking. And of course, we need to win».
Do you want to send a message to our fans?
«To keep supporting us. We are going through a tough period right now and they are right to be disappointed, but the darkest hour is just before dawn. We'll be better very soon!».
