Bartzokas: «We always have expectations and demands»

Olympiacos flew for Milan in view of the game against Armani (17/10, 20:45 CET) without the injured Shaquielle McKissic.

“We are certainly less fresh than Armani, that played on Saturday but did not play with Maccabi for the known reasons. They have had more time to prepare”, the coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas initially said. “We always have expectations and demands, where ever we may be playing, to win the game, but we play against a team that has been built to go far down the competition. They have a very experienced and good coach and they always play with extra energy at the Forum. We must play a good team game and have enough players play well”.

About the injury problems the team has been facing, he said: “We must allow for this time to pass, because Sikma is going to play, Williams-Goss probably not, although he’s traveling with us. All in all, we are going there with only one practice session together and it’s hard to predict the shape they are going to be in. We need a little more time, that we are going to get in the future. Right now though, we are just trying to survive most of the games, results included”.

On his part, Ignas Brazdeikis pointed out: “Armani is a great team, with a very good coach. They are going to be playing at home and they are going to be having the fans by their side. We are going there to play as hard as we can. We have made a good game plan, we have centered on it these past few days. The most important thing is to be ready to play when we get on the floor and play for one another”.
