G. Bartzokas: «We should play our style of game»
Olympiacos traveled to France in view o the game against Monaco (27/04), aiming to win the 3rd playoff game that will allow them to regain the home court advantage.
“We are at the peak of our European season and these games are very important”, the coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas pointed out and went on as follows: “Everyone at this level who are part of the Olympiacos’ organization, want to be playing crucial games. If we didn’t play such games, we wouldn’t even be here! That’s our fate and we need to get used to it”.
Talking about what it is the ‘reds’ need to be doing to win, he said: “In the first game of the series we did a lot of things very well and in the second one we did a lot of things really badly. In essence, our tactics was almost the same. We have made minimal differentiations. However, we played a very bad game at all levels, in concentration, in persistence, in not playing with our instincts… We did everything wrong, and that’s why we are now have to try to win back home court advantage. We play a certain style of basketball. We have to play accordingly and then we are going to have good chances at winning”.
