Giorgos Papagiannopulos returns to Olympiacos

Olympiacos BC announces that the orthopedics doctor Giorgos Papagiannopoulos will be heading of the team’s medical staff.



The 61year old doctor is returning to the Olympiacos basketball team after an absence of eight years.



Mr. Papagiannopoulos is a Doctor of the Athens University, Doctor of Philosophy of the Strathclyde University in Britain, former Chief of the first Orthopedics Clinic of the General Air force clinic and from 2000 till present he is the President, CEO and Chief of the Orthopedics Central Clinic of Athens.  



The new head of the medical staff was born on September 12, 1950 at the Arcadia Stadio and graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens in 1975, while he has performed thousands of surgical procedures in his career and has published more than 35 scientific papers.
