With Vangelis Angelou, Andreas Gatzoulis and Argyris Kambouris, it was the turn of Andreas Glyniadakis to visit the young athletes participating the first period of the 2nd Olympiacos Summer Basketball Camp.

The Cretan center spoke to the kids for enough time explaining what he did when at their age and the importance of hard work in making dreams come true.

Glyniadakis, who answered to the numerous questions of the kids about Olympiacos and the NBA, showed them how important it is to learn to use their backs within the game and obliged them by dunking.

The epilogue of the visit could not but include signing autographs and many photos taken.

The former “red” center and current player of Astana spoke about his presence at the 2nd Olympiacos Summer Basketball Camp: “It’s rare for big teams to invest in academies and young kids and I’m really happy Olympiacos is doing so. It’s a great opportunity for these kids, especially following the success of the men’s team, to come to the gym, play and become better. I’m especially happy that I, having been a member of this team that reached the top, was able to talk to the kids, give them some insight and help them improve and not just basketball wise. I wish that many of these kids at some point play for Olympiacos”.
