STAVROPOULOS: Mr. Ekonomides is lying
The General Director of Olympiacos BC Mr. Christos Stavropoulos was informed in Istanbul, where he is at the moment for a conference in view of the Final Four, about the statements made by the President of HEBA Mr. Vassilis Ekonomides and made the following statement…
“It is clearly obvious that Mr. Ekonomides is not capable of running HEBA and the only thing I have to say about his statements is that he is lying without any shame. Unfortunately for him, there has been a witness that has heard all of our conversation when I asked him to convey the result of the voting and he told me that in favor of our request was also Panathinaikos besides us of course, while PAOK, Drama and himself opposed to it. Then I stressed that it’s not possible for something relating to Olympiacos and Panathinaikos having others to decide and he told me that in that case, Panathinaikos and Olympiacos should seek the disseverment of HEBA and relevant committees. All of the above is said to restore the truth”.
