Three “reds” at the Official Olympiacos B.C. Store
Just before the game against FB Ulker at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, Giorgos Printezis, Kyle Hines and Martynas Gecevicius paid a visit to the Official Olympiacos B.C. Store.
The three “reds” had the opportunity to get photographed together with young and older fans, sign autographs and talk both about the Store and mainly about the game against the Turkish team…
GIORGOS PRINTEZIS: " The presence of our fans in the gym is important to us. We all know who the Olympiacos fans are. It’s really important that people come to the Official Olympiacos B.C. Store during such difficult times, either to just be photographed with us or buy school and athletic products and thus support the team. We want our fans to stand by the team.
We are upset from losing to Bilbao. The Euroleague premiere is difficult. All the teams have gotten stronger. It’s going to be a competitive season and we are going to try as well to be as competitive as possible. The new guys on the team should not be disappointed (i.e. from the defeat in Bilbao) and continue trying. The friendly game we played against FB Ulker was a totally different game from the one we are going to play tomorrow. It was a pre-season game and I think that they have made a couple of additions since then. Tomorrow’s game is a Euroleague home game and we need to be the best we can”.
ΚYLE HINES: «I’m excited to be playing our first home game. We have been looking forward to it and playing in front of our fans. We have been getting better every day, time is on our side and we have been practicing hard every day, looking always ahead since we have a very long season waiting for us». And went on commenting on the game against FB Ulker: “They are a great team. However, we want to get the victory. And we are going to do it if we play the defense our coach wants us to. We have to pay special attention to “little” things, to the details, both in offense and in defense. We must all try to rebound and bring our enthusiasm on the court. That’s how we are going to win”.
ΜΑRTYNAS GECEVICIUS: " We are looking forward to playing in front of our fans. I have heard a lot about our fans and the atmosphere they create. I expect them to support us". And concluded: “FB Ulker is a good team. Turkish teams have a lot of money now, they have acquired good players. We have to remain focused in all 40 minutes and get the victory”.
