«What I wanted»
Michalis Pelekanos is a person that doesn’t talk much, but this time he made an exception for olympiacosbc.gr by means of the renewal of his co-operation with Olympiacos.
“I’m very happy indeed because I got what I wanted”, the Greek guard said at first and added: “I’m going to stay with the team for a third season and I want this time to really help achieve our goals and the goals the teams sets never change regardless of the changes being made”.
The 30year old guard is going to have quite a few new team mates: “I don’t know many things for the guys that have joined us. But I know that they are players who put the team before themselves and know how to cope with difficult situations. The point is how fast we are going to find chemistry as a team and it’s also very important that the majority of the players are going to be present for the beginning of the pre-season camp. There is a new beginning being made for a job left unfinished and we have to complete the task”.
