Euroleague Basketball supports Two Nations Cup Basketball 2011

Two Nations Cup Basketball 2011, that will take place on October 1-2 in Abdi Ipekci Sports Hall, with the participation of Anadolu Efes, Fenerhahce Ulker, Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, will be enjoying the valuable support of Euroleague Basketball.

Two Nations Cup Basketball 2011, that will take place on October 1-2 in Abdi Ipekci Sports Hall, with the participation of Anadolu Efes, Fenerhahce Ulker, Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, will be enjoying the valuable support of Euroleague Basketball.

Having been commented upon by the world basketball community, Two Nations Cup Basketball 2011 guarantees credibility of the games with the presence of Mr. Costas Rigas, Euroleague Basketball’s Referee’s Director.

Mr. Costas Rigas was appointed in charge of the Technical Committee of Two Nations Cup Basketball 2011. After negotiating with Euroleague Basketball and following the tournaments philosophy, he chose three Greek and three Turkish experienced referees of Euroleague Basketball:
Panagiotis Anastopoulos (Greece)
Spyridon Godas (Greece)
Christos Christodoulou (Greece)
Murat Biricik (Τurkey)
Erşan Kartal (Τurkey)
Rüştü Nuran (Τurkey)

The appointment of the referees to officiate each game will be made by the Technical Committee of the Two Nations Cup Basketball 2011.

There will be a team’s Press Conference on Friday, September 30, 2011

The Press Conference of the teams’ coaches for the Two Nations Cup Basketball 2011, will be open to all the media, and will take place in Abdi Ipekci Sports Hall on September 30, at 14:00.

Fenerbahce Ülker: Neven Spahija
Οlympiacos: Dusan Ivkovic
Panathinaikos: Zeljko Obradovic

The coaches will be accompanied, as customary, by a player of their team.
