With Perperoglou at the wheel

Olympiacos won his third friendly game in a row beating Dynamo Sassari in Italy.

The Italians began the game strong and took advantage of the defensive instability of the European Champions, remaining in the game till half of the third quarter, when they led 58-50.

The “reds” however tightened the ropes in defense and accelerated in offense reaching an easy victory 106-87 in a game of 37’59’’, since Joey Dorsey smashed the backboard following an impressive dunk, thus prematurely ending the game!

Stratos Perpreroglou was the great protagonist for the Bartzokas’ team, since he was the one to lead the counter attack in the second half of the third quarter and led Olympiacos from -8 to +11 at the end of it.

Besides Perperoglou, the captain Vassilis Spanoulis, Giorgos Printezis and also Martynas Gecevicius played a quite good game.
