I’m coming to a new country and I want to get to know a new culture, new food and of course, help the Olympiacos team to win its goals. I’m looking forward to meeting a respectable coach such as Dusan Ivkovic. I have heard many good things about him” Howard commented and added: “My game resembles that of Matt Bonner of the San Antonio Spurs, he’s a very good player and I wish to come to his level of play. He also has a very good middle range shot, such as I do. I got much better in that aspect during last season”.

Howard also spoke about the other two Americans Olympiacos has signed: “I know I’m going to be playing together with Lucas and Hines. I played with Hines in try out in San Antonio. I know a lot about the team and I know it’s one of the top teams in Europe. I’m happy to have come, this is a very important step in my career”.
