Bartozkas: "Monaco is one of the most powerful teams"

Olympiacos will be hosting Monaco tomorrow at the SEF (29/10, 20.15 CET), for the 7th round of the EuroLeague.

«They are one of the most difficult teams to play against in the EuroLeague», our team's coach, Giorgos Bartzokas stressed, before going on to say: «One of the most powerful teams, with great experience, with players like Mirotic, Nedovic, James, who have huge experience in the competitiion, and they are also a very naturally talented team with lots of athleticism. I think our approach should be that of not relying on our record, not focusing on what we do in the first round or what the schedule is next. We have to focus on this one game, be especially effective, stick to our plan and win in front of our fans, which of course is not going to be easy at all, it's going to take effort and a good performance».

The coach then talked about the return of the injured players. «I feel optimistic because our team has become more balanced after those returns, and especially regarding the playing time and the roles within the game. So, our goal is to get better and to show that in the game tomorrow».

On his part, Nikola Milutinov stressed: «It's going to be a hard game. They play really tough. They are a well coached team, so we'll need to work hard to get the result we want».
