Bartzokas: «We won when we returned to principals»

Olympiacos' head coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, congratulated Mykonos on an impeccable organization of their first ever home game for the big League, while stressing that his team scored a comfortable win when it turned to its principles in the second half.

«Congratulations to Mykonos for organizing their first game with all that it entails... With improving the arena, the hospitality offered as well as with their competitive profile. They are a very combative team, with guards that control the game, they are tough on defense, that's why when we decided we shouldn't tire ourselves in the first half and do the things that make us a good team, we struggled. Obviously, we turned back to our principles in the third quarter, moved the ball, created open shots, played better in defense and scored a comfortable win. I would like to say about Mykonos that when you witness their foreign players to dive in the transition to avoid receiving a bucket, it's very encouraging for any team. They show they really care for the team but also about following their coach's plan».
