Bartzokas: «The win is dedicated to the victims of Gate 7»

The coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas, dedicated the win over Valencia to the victims of Gate 7.

"Today, is a day of memory for our club. We will never forget about the victims of Gate 7, and we dedicate tonight's win to their memories", the coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas said in his initial comments.

Talking about the game, he said: "It's a huge road win for us. Not just for the mark up, but also because Valencia is in a very good momentum right now. They beat Barcelona on the road and played with confidence thanks to that result. We had to stay focused on our game plan and be compact on both ends of the floor. We had to play our usual style of defense. We did that, especially in the third quarter, when Valencia scored only 9 points. At the same time, our focus was on Jones, because we had deduced that he is the key-player and he always does what's best for his teammates. He only scored 2 points and that was the key for us. We were leading throughout the game and the fact that we won is really very important for us at this time in the season. We still have eight games until the end of the regular season and we are going to give all we got to make the playoffs. That's the first and only goal in terms of the Euroleague".
