Bartzokas and Goss for the game against Villeurbanne (vid)

Olympiacos will play tomorrow (22/12, 19:45 CET) against Villeurbanne in France, aiming to get back to winning.

Before the game with ASVEL, however, the 'red & whites' coach talked about the missed opportunity in Bologna and on how his team can recover after it. "Through daily work. You get into the next practice and you set new goals. It's a loss that genuinely upset us. We were in control of the game for 39:30'' minutes, however, we made the wrong decisions at the end and lost. But, that's our life. We have another game almost immediately. We play against Villeurbanne and we have to focus on that game".

More specifically, he stressed about the game vs the French: "We are faced with a huge 'must-win'. We must win and there is no team in the Euroleague that you can definitely beat. The example of Barcelona that lost to Alba is proof enough. I believe that all teams are going to go through periods when they are going to have winning or losing streaks. The thing is, that you should be able to manage both situations, without heightened emotions and in our case, analyze what our situation really is, so that we can get better through daily work. That has been our goal and we are sure we will do that".

On his part, Nigel Williams-Goss pointed out: "It is obvious that losing to Virtus hurt us. We felt we were playing well and that we could have won the game, but we did not finish up as we should have. That has happened in quite a few games. I can right now think of 2 or 3 games that we lost for a couple of points. We know we were really close and that we have to finish games better".

About Villeurbanne: "No Euroleague game is easy. Either you play the top-ranking team or the bottom-ranking one, everyone can beat anyone in this league. We know how difficult road games are. We must be absolutely focused and play with energy, because it's a game we must win".
