Bartzokas: "Nothing about the Euroleague is easy"

Olympiacos will be hosting Bayern Munich tomorrow (08/12, 20.15 CET), aiming to get back to a winning path.

"Bayern is coming from three back-to-back winning Euroleague games and a total of five wins if we take the German League also into account", the 'red & whites' coach, Giorgos Bartzokas stressed in his initial statement and went on to add: "They are in good shape, they are at a good level and they have the same Euroleague record with us, six wins and six defeats. They are in group of teams that have a lot of chances to make the playoffs. They have a very good coach, a very remarkable and experienced roster and a core of players that have been playing together for years. They are a very compact team and the game is going to be hard enough. That's how we have to approach it and that's how we must play. Our players must be certain that there is nothing easy about the Euroleague, all the more in regard to this game".

Asked if there is any chance that Filip Petrusev get to debut in the 'red & white' jersey against the German team, he replied: "Yes. It's hard, because we haven't had the chance to practice enough as a team. They are very specific due to the schedule. Coaches have a tough job in terms of incorporating new players. There is no time to practice and he somehow needs to find his footing through the actual games. And that's not an easy task, because all games are demanding and each possession counts. But he's going to be in the roster and we'll see how it goes in terms of playing time".
