Larentzakis: «We are ready»

Olympiacos will play against Monaco tomorrow (30/11) for the 11th round of the Euroleague, and Giannoulis Larentzakis thinks that his team will be able to return to Greece with the win. 

"We are definitely ready", was the initial statement by the experienced guard, who went on to say: "Monaco has a very strong peripheral line, they are very good at one on one. They a strong team overall, but we are going to rely on our game principals and on defense, which is at a very satisfactory level and can contain their assets". 

He added that: "We know it's going to be a demanding game with great intensity. We know that the game will be one of contacts and one on one. I believe though, that we can control the tempo, especially through our defense. In offence, we shall have to be concentrated and make good decisions, so that we can play our game". 

Finally, on whether the presence of Mike James, whom he's going to have to contain as much as possible, is an extra motivation for him, he said: "It's definitely an extra motivation. You always want to contain and stop player of that level. However, the work, even in defense, is a group one".
