Larentzakis: «We must all give something more»

Giannoulis Larentzakis said tomorrow’s game (14/11, 20.05 CET) against Maccabi in Belgrade, to be difficult and dangerous.

“The fact that no fans are going to be attending brings back memories from the ‘Covid’ season. It’s always good to play in front of fans. From there on, it’s a very difficult and dangerous game. We must play the kind of basketball we know and have worked on. We must give 100% to get a positive result”.

And went on to add: “Maccabi is a very athletic team that brings a lot of energy on the floor. I believe that if we start from our defense, which is always our base, and impose our rhythm, we will be fine”.

Luke Sikma is returning to the Olympiacos’ roster, but Shaquielle McKissic and Nikola Milutinov are still out. “We always must have extra motivation and we all must give something extra. We expect the guys to gradually come back. They are important for us, just like any player is important. Right now, we need to survive and stay together focused on what comes next, which is going to be very different when all the guys are back”.
