A healthy walk in Rhodes!

Olympiacos ‘crushed’ Kolossos in Rhodes 102-59 and remains undefeated in the Basket League.

The ‘red & whites’ came into the game determined to finish up early with the question about who the winner of the game was going to be. With superb defense, excellent ball movement and Kostas Papanikolaou leading the offense, they closed the first half at +14 (12-26). Following the same ‘recipe’ and with amazing percentages from the long range together with completely dominating the post (regardless of whether it was Fall or Milutinov on the floor), Olympiacos continued increasing the score difference that reached its peak at 19’ (+23, 26-49).

Despite the chaotic distance, Bartzokas’ players did not consider slowing down. They continued pressing in the back court, moved the ball around efficiently, remained exceptionally goo at shooting from the three point line and closed the 3rd quarter at +39 (38-770. But they didn’t seem satisfied even with that. With Moustapha Fall taking the lead, the ‘red & whites’ upped the difference to 49p. (39-88) at 34’ and allowed Giorgos Bartzokas to open up his rotation and rest key players. George Papas was the one to break through the 100p. barrier with a three at 39’ (55-102), while then Kolossos ran a mini 4-0 that made the final score 59-102.

The quarters : 12-26, 28-49, 38-77, 59-102.
