Villeurbanne demolished!

Olympiacos dominated Villeurbanne 89-54, for the 16th round of the Euroleague hence maintaining his invincible home record!

The French got to lead 4-0 at the beginning of the game, however, as soon as Olympiacos sped up they were forced to watch the ‘reds’ backs throughout the rest of the match up! Relying heavily on their defense and with Sasha Vezenkov as an offensive leverage, the ‘reds’ turned the tables and closed the first quarter at +10 (20-10). Giorgos Bartzokas’ players invested in both defense and rebounding into the second quarter (21-13) and took the difference index to 18p. (39-21).

In the second half, Olympiacos decided it was time for an offensive recital, resulting in increasing the difference to +31 (65-34 at 30’). Despite the game seeming decided, the ‘reds’ refused to relax. They continued scoring at will, sending the numbers even higher (36p., 79-43 at 35’).
