Olympiacos beat Promitheas 108-75, for the 3rd day of the Stoiximan Basket League and remains undefeated in the Greek League.
It’s noteworthy that on all three games for the League, our team has crushed the 100 point barrier!
With good defense and Tyler Dorsey leading the offense, the ‘reds’ got to lead by 9p. (22-13) at 7’, however, Promitheas took advantage of its excellent shooting and closed in at one bucket (26-24 at 9’). It was Kostas Sloukas’ turn to take over then, striking from the perimeter and putting in a major contribution so as to Olympiacos building a +15 difference (48-33 at 18’). From that point on, Bartzokas’ players maintained complete control of the game closing the first half at +11 (52-41).
The ‘reds’ made a sluggish beginning in the second half, which the guests took advantage of, closing in at 6p. (59-53 at 24’). But the ‘reds’ reflexes quickly took over… Olympiacos put pressure in the defense, moved the ball as needed and with Sasha Vezenkov spearheading the offense and a partial 17-3, the difference went to +20 (76-56 at 29’). The ‘reds’, who were even leading with 35 at 39’ (105-70), got the win without facing any resistance.
