Ran with … 103 through Tripolis

Olympiacos stormed through Tripolis against Arkadikos, beating the team 103-60 for the 16th day of the Basket League SKRATS. Matt Lojeski was the top scorer with 23 points and 9/9 shots.

The Greek Champions completely dominated the game from the beginning on both ends of the court and never looked back.

THE DEFENSE: In the first half, it was exactly what Giannis Sfairopoulos wants to see from his players. There were times when the Arkadikos players were not even able to put the ball back on the court and the screens were exactly what the Greek coach wants.

THE OFFENSE: Olympiacos scored 103 points with Matt Lojeski not missing a shot and getting score from everyone playing. The offense worded perfectly for most part of the game and the Piraeus players had no problem surpassing 100 points.

MVP: Matt Lojeski never missed a shot throughout the game. He had 9/9 and a total of 23 points (4/4 2pointers, and 5/5 threes). ‘Thrylos’ was really missing Matt and especially his long range shot.

KEEPING, FORGETTING: Keeps the proper reaction following the defeat in Madrid and goes with the best psychology possible against Khimki. Forgets three minutes of poor performance in the third quarter.

I would like to congratulate Arkadikos for the conditions of the game and for the work they’ve been doing and I wish them to save the category, because the category needs teams like Arkadikos”. Asked about what is the gain for Olympiacos from such a game apart from the victory, the Greek coach said: “to gain more experience that will help us play better as a team. There is a thinking, that this game will teach us helpful situations for what comes next in both Greece and the Euroleague’.
