A win over Kolossos and a new record by Dorsey
Olympiacos topped Kolossos 100 - 86 in their final home game of 2025, completing an 11–0 run in the Stoiximan GBL.
Giorgos Bartzokas’ 209th game, with him standing alone at the top of the list of coaches with the most games in the Greek league with Olympiacos, was accompanied by a career night for Tyler Dorsey, who poured in 41 points while knocking down 9 3-pointers.
Bartzokas opened the game with Ntilikina, Dorsey, Papanikolaou, Peters, and Milutinov, with the French guard scoring the first 4 points of the game.
Alec Peters then took over, posting 11 points in the first quarter. Two minutes before its end , Monte Morris checked in for Ntilikina and received a warm ovation from the Peace and Friendship Stadium crowd.
For Kolossos, Nichols and Goudelock stood out in the same stretch, and thanks to their two guards’ performance, the Rhodes side closed the first quarter down by four (27–23).
Kolossos started the second quarter better and went on an 8–0 run to take a four-point lead (27–31). Five minutes before the half-time break, Monte Morris hit a three for his first basket in the 'red & white'. Tyler Dorsey then became Olympiacos’ second player in double figures, cutting the deficit to 37–39 with a three, while 2 minutes later, Omiros Netzipoglou tied the game after grabbing his own offensive rebound.
Morris and Hall then raised their level, sending Olympiacos into the break with a 4 point lead (47–43).
At the start of the second half, Tyler Dorsey caught fire. The Greek-American guard drilled 4 threes in less than 4 minutes, igniting what would become a remarkable record performance.
Dorsey scored 21 points in the third quarter, reaching 35 before the start of the final period, while also dishing out 5 assists and collecting 5 rebounds.
Olympiacos opened the fourth quarter with a 13-point lead (79–66), as 7,500 fans, this season’s highest attendance in the Stoiximan GBL outside of Panathinaikos games, waited for every next Dorsey shot. He delivered on 2 more attempts, reaching 41 points with 9 made 3-pointers, setting a career high with the 'red & whites'.
Our team reached the 100-point mark for a 3rd consecutive game in the Stoiximan GBL thanks to 2 free throws by Bournele just seconds before the final buzzer, securing the 100–86 victory.
