Monday Night Game Against Covid-19: The initiatives
The battle against Covid-19 continues even stronger! Olympiacos BC, in collaboration with its great sponsor, bwin, continue through the “Monday Night Game Against Covid-19” program, to make a substantial contribution to the society!
Just like in the first game against Kolossos Rhodes, a series of actions taken by the ‘reds’ and their sponsors, that were aiming at supporting the National Health System, vulnerable social groups but also giving credit to those at the front lines of the ‘war’ against the Pandemic.
Specifically:
* The General Director or Olympiacos BC, Mr. Nikos Lepeniotis, together with the Director of Corporate Communication for bwin, Ms Ioanna Beriou, delivered to the Board member of the “Together for the Child” Association, Mr. Giorgos Papadakis, a check aiming to support a program that provides meals to families that have been suffering financially due to Covid-19.
* The General Director or Olympiacos BC, Mr. Nikos Lepeniotis, together with the Director of Corporate Communication for bwin, Ms Ioanna Beriou, delivered to the General Director of ELEPAP (Greek Organization for the Protection of Kids with Disabilities), Mr. Marianos Tassos, 30,000 medical grade face masks.
* Olympiacos’ forward, Kostas Papanikolaou, together with the Director of Corporate Communication for bwin, Ms Ioanna Beriou, delivered to the director of the Nursing Services of the ICU for the “Evangelismos” Hospital, Mr. Demetrios Pistolas, 10,000 medical grade face masks.
* The General Director or Olympiacos BC, Mr. Nikos Lepeniotis, presented an award for Ms Efstathia Kampisioule, the nurse of the “Evangelismos” General Hospital who was the first person to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in Greece, offering hope to all of our fellow country people! He also offered her a gift card for the GSA Stores.
* Our team’s captain, Vassilis Spanoulis, offered her a collector’s jersey signed by all the players of our team and Shaquielle McKissic gave her a gift card for the Olympiacos BC Official Stores!
* Also, Mr. Georgios Samios, President and CEO of the FF Group, Official Sponsor of our team, gave her a gift card for the Factory Outlet Stores.
* The General Director of Olympiacos BC, Mr. Nikos Lepeniotis and Mr. Georgios Samios, President and CEO of FF Group, Official Sponsor of our team, gave the director of the Nursing Services of the “Evalgelismos” General Hospital ICUs, Mr. Demetrios Pistolas, a 6,500 euro gift card for the 130 nurses in the Hospital’s ICUs.
* The General Director of Olympiacos BC Mr. Nikos Lepeniotis, offered the President of the Peace and Friendship Stadium, Ms. Christine Tsilingire, 3,000 face masks and hand sanitizers for the arena’s staff.
