GIANNIS SFAIROPOULOS: "I would like to thank the Presidents for the addition of Michalis Tsairelis in our team. With this move we incorporate a very useful player in our roster, empowering our front line. Tsairelis is an international Greek player that has made great progress in the recent years and will complete our roster without changing the co-operations, roles and chemistry, since we are going to be having the same team in both the Greek League and the Euroleague. With the expected return of Dimitris Agravanis, our team will be ready for the rest of its official games".

MICHALIS TSAIRELIS:  "Playing for the top level is a lot in itself, so I didn't have much to think about. I know many guys on the team, I know the coach and this helped me a lot into making the right decision. The truth is I haven't played again for such a high level team and it's a big challenge for me. Things between the Euroleague and the Eurocup are totally different. The level is totally different from last year when I was playing the Eurocup and now that I will be playing the Euroleague. From that point on, my biggest goal is to adjust the soonest possible. As I said before, I know a lot of players that are going to help me achieve that and everything is going to be fine. It is certain that in Spain I became stronger and more mature as a person and as a player. Now, how I can help Olympiacos, is something the coach has to let me know…"
