Simmons: I’m coming for the … dirty work

Cedric Simmons spoke to Olympiacosbc.gr about the new chapter opening up in his career: “I always wanted to play for the Euroleague, I always wanted to take this step. It’s the best thing for my career and my family. I’m leaving a good team to go to the best team in Europe. What else could be better?”

The American player confirms to be ready and at the disposal of Giorgos Bartzokas to do all the … dirty work: “I’m going to play tough defense. I’m going to block and get rebounds. I’m mainly going to make my team mates’ lives easier with screens. I’m going to do all the dirty work and I’m not afraid of getting … dirty”.

Simmons is returning to the Greek League and his goal is clear: “What Olympiacos has done this season with the Euroleague is fantastic. Doing it again would be un-real. For me, the top priority this season would be the Greek League. This season this goal was not achieved, but we are going to be coming back…”
