The first jump ball for this season of the One Team Program took place today (19/10) at the SEF!
The athletes of the 1st Special School of St. Demetrius came to the Peace and Friendship Stadium and after given a tour of the facilities (the main hall where our men’s team plays its games, the locker rooms, as well as our state of the art gym), went to work!
The first practice session – that as always aimed at training, entertaining as well as passing important messaging to the kids – had as its main theme operating and creating relying on team spirit. What this means? How our athletes understood the importance of respecting the rules and their team mates, listening to their coaches, working together and rejoice in team success.
