Olympiacos supports the International Childhood Cancer Day

Once again taking a leading role with social responsibility initiatives, the Olympiacos organization stands in support of the International Childhood Cancer Day by backing a friendly game on Sunday, February 15, delivering a powerful message.

The Olympiacos BC Academy and the Olympiacos Basketball Veterans Association join forces in cooperation with the charitable organization “The Sun Will Shine Again – Alexandros”, aiming to raise public awareness and support the fight against childhood cancer.

For this reason, on Sunday, February 15, in the context of the International Childhood Cancer Day, a friendly game between former Olympiacos basketball players will take place at Hall 5 of the Peace and Friendship Stadium.

Following the conclusion of the game, a symbolic aerial spectacle will take place. Above the stadium, high in the sky, 200 drones will deliver messages of hope and strength to all the children who are fighting their own brave battle in the pediatric oncology hospitals across the country.

Event Schedule
17:00 – Friendly game between Olympiacos basketball veterans (Hall 5, Peace and Friendship Stadium)
18:30 – Symbolic aerial show featuring 200 drones
In this game, everyone counts. Admission is free.
