Did what was needed for the 3rd place game

Olympiacos beat Fenerbahce 87-84 for the third-place game of the Euroleague Final 4.
The first 8 minutes of the game were balanced with Fener gaining a short 3p. lead (12-15). Somewhere there though, the 'red & whites' turned the 'switch' on... They put pressure in defense, found solutions with McKissic, Milutinov and Goss and running a partial 12-2 closed the first quarter at +7 (24-17). Olympiacos consistently remained in the driver's seat (30-21), but, two minutes of diminished focus on both ends of the floor allowed the Turkish team to close into one point (30-29). Nikola Milutinov and Nigel Williams-Goss took over once again and with a three by Kostas Papanikolaou almost at the buzzer, our team got to close the first half at +11 (48-37).
The 'red & whites' absolutely controlled the game up to 26' (58-48, however, with three back-to-back threes, the Turks once again closed into one point (58-57 at 28'). Relying on Goss and Larentzakis, Olympiacos got ahead with 4p. at 30' (66-62), while with Alec Peters giving a scoring recital from the three-point line, expanded the distance to 10p. (78-68 at 34'). At 37', Bartzokas' players had to manage a +12 lead (85-73), however, they seemed to inexcusably relax and hence received a partial 2-11 (87-84). All the more, in the last play of the game, Fener tried to send the game to the overtime, but Sanli's three-pointer did not count since it was taken after the clock had expired.
The quarters: 24-17, 48-37, 66-62, 87-84.
