The best player in the world, Giannis Antentokoumpo, is in Greece preparing for the new NBA season, practicing at the facilities of the Peace and Friendship Stadium. The 26-year old guard for the Milwaukee Bucks met with Vassilis Spanoulis and the Olympiacos’ captain gave him two of his jerseys.

The twice NBA regular season MVP had asked for a jersey from the captain. Autographed and with a personalized dedication. That’s what happened, because, how could it now…

The Bucks forward and the captain of the Piraeus team had the chance to talk for quite some time before the practice session of the NBA MVP began. “V-Span” kept his promise and gave him his last season’s jersey, the one he wore during the season he became the top scorer in the history of the Euroleague and the jersey he’s been playing with this season.

At the same time, Giannis, really proudly, would be telling members of the Buck’s training staff that “Spanoulis is Europe’s Kobe”.

The 38-year old guard of the ‘reds’ asked in turn for the “Greek Freak’s” jersey and Giannis promised to reciprocate.
