Drills, bulldozers and the President (vid+pics)

The President of Olympiacos BC, Mr. Giorgos Angelopoulos, went to the SEF during the weekend and inspected the construction work that's been done in the arena.

The stands in the main arena have been taken down and the works towards building the suites have began, while at the same time the installation of the new floor has commenced, a project that will sigificantly increase the gym's capacity and spectators will be eventually able to come close to the sidelines.

All of the above are progressing fast, while the training facility is almost complete with some final touches remaining.

The 'red & whites' have been training in SEF's Hall 3, which will be the team's 'home' for daily practices. The state-of-the-art training facility will be fully developed by mid-September, when also the Academies' facilities are going to be ready. The final part of the project is the team's offices, with only the tending to final details remaining.
