The ‘red’ visit to the Athens’s Medical Center (pics+vid)
Vangelis Mantzaris, Nigel Williams-Goss and Janis Timma paid a visit to the pediatric section of the Athens’s Medical Center Group in Maroussi and gave away gifts.
“Just like each year, Olympiacos is once again next to the children”, the ‘reds’ guard, Vangelis Mantzaris pointed out. “It’s very important to offer smiles and joy to kids that have to deal with health problems during these holiday season. I hope, that even for a little while, we made them forget about their problems. I wish from the bottom of my heart for health for everyone in the world, because it’s the most precious gift we can be given. It is many times that we forget about that and we take it as a given, however, that’s not the case”.
On his part, Janis Timma, stressed: “That was a really beautiful thing we did. You can see the smiles on the faces of the kids, small gifts that they get to see as if they are a miracle. It’s the best feeling when you see small kids smiling, because you have done something for them. I hope they get better really soon”.
